Live Chat Widget

Create, customize, secure, and embed your website chat

Create a Live Chat widget, embed it on your website, and receive visitor chats inside Sentinel.

1. Create a widget configuration

Go to Widget Configuration and click Create Widget to generate your first configuration.

2. Customize the widget appearance

Customize the widget exactly the way you want: font type, font size, light/dark theme colors, banner color, and widget position on your website.

You can upload an icon if you want to replace the default icon (upload is optional). Upload an avatar if you don’t want to use the default (empty means default). Upload a banner image if you want a photo banner; otherwise it will use banner color (if set), and if not, it will follow your theme colors.

3. Set your business hours

Set business hours to control the widget’s online/offline status. When offline, visitors will see an offline status message. You can still allow AI responses while offline—this is primarily a visibility disclaimer for visitors.

If it’s not a working day, leave it empty. If you want the widget always online, set hours to 00:00 – 23:59.

4. Set allowed domains

For safety, add your website domain(s) to the allowed domains list. This helps prevent unauthorized sites from embedding your widget.

5. Install the embed code

Save your widget configuration. Then click Get Embed to copy the script snippet.

Paste it right before the closing </body> tag on your website. The widget will appear automatically and is ready to use.
