Connect Telegram
Connect with phone + code (and 2FA if enabled)
Connect Telegram to Sentinel so your team can handle Telegram conversations inside the same shared inbox.
1. Prerequisites
Before connecting, make sure you have a Telegram account and a phone number that’s ready to be connected. Keep your Telegram app available because you’ll receive a login code.
2. Integrate Telegram (phone + code)
Go to Platforms → Telegram, click Integrate, then enter your phone number. Telegram will send a code to your Telegram app—enter it to finish login.
If your Telegram account has 2FA (Two-Step Verification) enabled, you’ll also be asked for your Telegram password. This is a security feature you previously set in the Telegram app to protect logins beyond the code.

3. You’re connected
Once connected, you can receive and send messages from:
- Platforms → Telegram
- Inbox → Telegram channel (including initiating a message from a saved contact if you store their Telegram username or phone)
