Connect WhatsApp
Connect via QR and start sending/receiving messages
Connect WhatsApp to Sentinel so your team can reply from a shared inbox—without switching apps.
1. Prerequisites
Before connecting, make sure you have a WhatsApp account and a phone number that’s ready to be connected. Keep your WhatsApp app available because you’ll scan a QR code during setup.
2. Integrate WhatsApp (QR connect)
Go to Platforms → WhatsApp and click Manage. In the integration modal, click Start to generate a QR code.
Scan it from your WhatsApp app to connect. If the QR expires (typically within a few minutes), click Refresh QR and scan the new code.

3. You’re connected
Once connected, you can receive and send messages from:
- Platforms → WhatsApp
- Inbox → WhatsApp channel (including initiating a message from a saved contact)
